Over 60 Years" and still going strong! Once again the Sheet Harbour Lions Club and our community organizations are planning a fun filled Seaside Festival. This festival has been successful for more than 30 years because of the enthusiasm and support from all of our surrounding communities.

The Lions Club appreciates all the support and generosity at the weekly bingo’s and other Lions Club events. All proceeds raised by the Club go to local needs and organizations in need of support.

The Lions Street Parade will begin at 1pm, August 14^th , 2010, from West River to United Church Hall parking lot. There will be prizes and awards for group and individual entries, so don’t be shy, everyone can participate. Businesses and homes along the route are encouraged to decorate the front of their establishments or home for the day of the parade for which a prize will be awarded.

On Parade Day, our popular home cooked Ham and Turkey supper starts at 4:00 pm at the Lion’s Centre. Because of your generosity, this supper has been a success every year. Lions’ club members will be again collecting donations of salads, rolls, desserts, juice, tomatoes, and cucumbers on Saturday morning, August 14^th , 2010. Please call the Lions centre at 885-2280 to arrange for pick up.

In closing we Thank You in advance and encourage everyone to take an active part in the festival. Come and enjoy these festivities with you friends and neighbors.
